Cythia Beatt´s Film with Tilda Swinton is going be screened at this year´s Viennale in Oktober. The Berlin premiere is going to be on November 8th and will be shown at many Goetheinstitutes worldwide. You can also buy the DVD here and here
3SAT will air the film on Nov. 8th 21:45 followed by “Cycling the Frame” from 1988.These pictures are not from the Films. I took them in 1989.

The sound design work on Angela Schanelec´s new feature film Orly has taken off. A German/French co-production starring Natacha Régnier, Bruno Todeschini, Mireille Perrier, Emile Berling, Lina Faulkner, Maren Eggert and Josse De Pauw.

- Berlinale 2009 screenings

This year´s Berlinale festival will screen the following films I´ve worked on:
- “The International” by Tom Tykwer will open the Festival
- “Deutschland 09” will be shown in the competition section.
- “Mitte Ende August” by Sebastian Schipper will be shown in the “Forum” section.

Sony launches first trailer for Tom Tykwer´s upcoming film “The International”. About 8 months of sound work went into this feature film. It´s going to be released in February 2009.

- "Die drei Räuber" nominated for best sound design

The German Film Academy has nominated the animated feature Die Drei Räuber for best sound design for this year´s Lola-Awards.
I worked on this film last year and it was the first time for me to work on a feature length animation movie. It was great fun to create a whole sound-world from scratch. - Permalink
